Idoll: Modeling Agency Industry Magazine Inaugural Launch Party

New York City, New York, USA (KAPOW NEWS) – One, Next, Wilhelmina, Elite, as well as a few other top names, finally have a magazine to call their own, Idoll Magazine.

Idoll is pronounced “I Doll” and focuses on models, agencies, and the modeling industry in general.

The official launch party will be on April 23, 2011 for their S/S 2011 Issue at Hotel Gansevoort – Park Avenue South, (420 Park Avenue South, Manhattan, N.Y.).

This high profile event will be graced by NY notable modeling agencies, such as One, Marilyn, and Fenton Moon, as well as ‘America’s Next Top Model’ winners, celebrity photographers, make-up artists, as well as hair and wardrobe stylists – the “Who’s Who” of the NY modeling industry.

Hitting the shelves @ Barnes & Noble, Idoll Magazine features Jessica Roffey, of One Agency, on the cover.

The S/S 2011 issue boasts agency model blogs from New York, Milan, Paris, and London, a guide to the top 30 new ‘model’ faces, ‘First Looks’ backstage at Fashion Week, as well as an article on a separate ‘visa class’ for working models.

Also featured in the upcoming mag, Gl Wood – fashion photographer, Ope – stylist, Gregory Kaoua – hair master, and Paul Innis – make up artist. Tips & comments from booking agents such as those from Next, DNA, Elite, Women, Marilyn, Major, and Click are shared.

Runway lists are included from such shows as Roberto Cavalli, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, and Herve Leger.

Idoll will prove to be fresh, as well as edgy & current. Founder and Publisher of Idoll Magazine, Tyrone Christopher, was quoted as saying:
