Music Unites Prince William & Tinie Tempah
Recently on Access Hollywood, Tinie Tempah spoke about his “amazing” meeting with Prince William & Kate Middleton at Radio 1′s Big Weekend Festival.
Tinie has mad respect for the Prince and said that their meeting:
“just goes to show the power of music right, and how music can unite different walks of life.”
Tinie was just coming off stage after performing a set of songs, and the Prince put his hand on Tinie’s shoulder and they had a chat.
According to Tinie, Prince William expressed that he liked his songs Pass Out, Frisky, and Written in the Stars.
Tinie’s first single, Pass Out, debuted at #1 on the UK Singles Chart. A few months later his second single, Frisky, debuted at #2.
Written in the Stars, Tinie’s third single, also debuted at #1, selling over 115,000 copies in the first week.
Tinie is also becoming quite the YouTube star with over 73 million views on just Frisky, Pass Out, & Written in the Stars. Tinie has millions of more views and growing on VEVO.
